How do I obtain pictures of Scotland to accompany stories/brochures?

Those requiring images can access the largest collection of pictures of Scotland in the world from Scottish Viewpoint.  They hold VisitScotland’s images and all VisitScotland images are free of reproduction charges for all staff, BTA, SCOTS agents (in the US) and any authorised partner (travel trade, design agency) for which activity or promotion has been expressly approved by a specific VisitScotland member of staff.  This also includes overseas and national press, authorised by VisitScotland press team.

All staff and authorised users are able to conduct their own searches free.  However, there will be a flat charge (currently £10 + VAT per 25 images) payable to Scottish Viewpoint to record images to CD and a £10 + VAT fee to send images via ISDN, modem or email.

If duplicate slides are requested, charges will be made per dupe as well as delivery costs, where applicable.  VisitScotland staff may also wish to cover these administrative costs on behalf of their authorised users.
