Business Engagement looks after the need of our business customers. They advise businesses on market trends and offer them access to different marketing opportunities, which include:

• attendance at events and exhibitions
• website advertising
• visitor guide listing.

They also offer businesses specialist quality advice and quality assessments, to enable businesses to promote the quality of their service/offer to potential customers.

The Business Engagement directoriate consists of five departments:

Director of Business Engagement - Eddie Byers

Eddie joined VisitScotland in June 2004 from Scottish Development International to support the development of the new industry engagement plan. He has previously held senior marketing and business positions in several multinational companies including 3i and HSBC developing and implementing world wide commercial marketing strategies for business customers.
