Edinburgh & Lothians Area Tourism Partnership (ATP)

At the Inaugural Meeting held on Friday 25th February 2005 it was agreed that the remit of the ATP should include the following areas of responsibility:

1. Draw up and oversee the implementation of the Area Tourism Partnership (ATP) Plans)
2. Input to the national tourism strategy and review local alignment on an ongoing basis
3. Secure resources for the ATP Plan from partners
4. Monitor performance of all partners
5. Act, as appropriate, to promote the interests of the local tourism, leisure and hospitality industry.
6. Oversee and influence the business planning process of the Area Network office.
