The Association is Scotland's representative organisation for all Country Sports involving rod, horse, gundog, falcon or gun; formed in 1994 in readiness to speak on Country
Sports to the Scottish Parliament, it works with all Government bodies throughout the country to promote and protect Scotland''s unique sporting heritage.
The
Association provides information to visitors on the law, the availability of sport in Scotland and firearm/shotgun regulations; membership benefits include Third Party Insurance
cover for 5 million for the visitor while following country sports anywhere in the UK.
The Association publishes a Handbook of Scottish Country
Sports with details of sporting seasons, agents and estates lodges and the variety of Scottish sport available - cost is 5 per copy to include post / packaging.
The
Association is funded by membership subscription of various categories, of which the annual individual membership subscription is 25. |
