The Scottish Licensed Trade Association is the only body representing all sections of the industry in Scotland.

Within the membership are hotels; public houses; restaureants; refreshments; entertainment and off-sale licences.

The Association is consulted by Government, national boards and the media when interests of the trade are under consideration.

Objectives

• To watch all proceedings and measures in European, Westminster and Scottish Parliaments, and all proceedings and measures taken by any Board, Council or organisation affecting any branch of the Trade, and to take such steps as may be deemednecessary to promote, amend or defeat them as the case maybe.
• To effectively represent the views of the trade upon all questions touching its interests by means of deputations, meetings or petitions.
• To promote or defend such test cases as in the discretion of the Managing Committee shall appear to affect the general interest of the Trade in Scotland.
• To give licensees a comprehensive service and cost savings.
